Saying Goodbye to the Park Pass Program
We regret to announce that our complimentary Park Pass Program will be discontinued until further notice for reservations made after November 1, 2024.
The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) requires that guests to Ontario Provincial Parks register their vehicles with the Ontario Park’s online system before arrival. However, the Ontario Parks online registration system:
- Does not validate park pass serial numbers
- Is very difficult for anyone (but especially persons with disabilities) to navigate without tech support
- And we have been advised on numerous occasions that the park is understaffed and often unable to consistently monitor infractions anyway.
For Algonquin Provincial Park only, they also require that we provide physical passes to guests, which adds a significant administrative burden while we distribute, track, and recover forgotten or lost passes.
Consequently we find ourselves at this time unable to continue to support or comply with yet another government system that seems designed to fail. We continue to engage with officials to address the issues and we appreciate your understanding as we make the necessary adjustments.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR RESERVING YOUR PARK PASS
You must reserve your park entry with Ontario Parks in order to guarantee a space. You can do this up to 5 days before your arrival at
https://reservations.ontarioparks.com/
During peak periods (like the fall colours, Sept-Oct), Ontario Parks limits the number of park passes available for safety reasons. To avoid disappointment we encourage you to reserve your pass the full 5 days in advance.
- Click the Day Use tab
- Select Algonquin – Hwy 60 Corridor
- Click Search
- Click the day you want to reserve the pass for
- Click Reserve
- Click Acknowledge
- Check All reservation details are correct.
- Click Confirm Reservation Details
- Click Proceed to Checkout
- Sign in to your account (or create one if you don’t have one already)
- Review the policies and click Confirm Acknowledgements
- Click Confirm Account Details
- Click Confirm Occupants
- Choose Seasonal Vehicle Permit Holder
- Enter C25 – any number between 5-9 digits (for example, C25 – 524358)
- Enter your license plate # and province
- Click Confirm Additional Information
- Balance will drop to $0.00. Click Confirm Booking
- Follow the instructions to pre-register
