Booths Rock Trail, Algonquin Park, Ontario Canada

Trail length Km – 5.1
Located at KM – 40.3 (9 km south of Hwy 60 off Rock Lake Rd)
Estimated difficulty – difficult
Time Needed – 3 Hours

A spectacular trail that takes you up a steep climb to a rocky ridge overlooking Rock Lake. This ridge has several excellent lookouts.

The trail descends a set of stairs towards the site of the old Barclay Estate where you can still see remnants of this once magnificent estate of the logging baron J. R. Booth. You then follow the trail back on the abandoned railway line along Rock Lake to the parking lot. A must do trail in the fall!
